To secure a Certified Recovery Peer Support Specialist (CRSS) position. Qualifications I have been involved with Narcotics Anonymous, Alcoholics Anonymous, and I am currently with Celebrate Recovery. I have experienced 40 years of past drug and alcohol abuse and have been an inpatient in rehab facilities. I am currently the Celebrate Recovery Inside State Representative for Northeast Alabama (prisons and jail ministry). I have facilitated seven step studies, while completing 5 studies. I teach Life’s Healing Choices, Miracle of Mercy, Purpose Driven Life and ran a full CR program in jails, prisons, and outside CR facilities. I was the training coach and small group leader for Guntersville 1st United Methodist Church Celebrate Recovery from 5/1/18 to 5/1/19. Currently I am working for Mountain Lakes Behavioral Healthcare as a CRSS. I work as a CRSS with the Medically Assisted Treatment Program, under the State Opioid Response Initiative (SOR) grant. Passionate Peer counselor dedicated to improving lives of individuals struggling with addiction and other behavioral disorders. Caring supporter of recovering patients with guidance toward tangible improvements and relapse prevention. Attentively implements sound treatment plans addressing unique patient needs and helps attain long-term behavioral goals.
