The majority of my work experience comes from volunteering as a Youth Volunteer at the Matsuri Festival and at my high school and middle school. These service initiatives focused on making a meaningful impact in the community by prioritizing participants' needs through quality care, attention to detail, and collaboration. Through these experiences, I developed strong communication and relationship-building skills; it taught me to be a self-motivated, dependable volunteer committed to fostering a positive environment.
Additionally, my role at the EMCC Theater provided hands-on experience in prop management and set construction, where I honed my ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. I became knowledgeable in rigging systems (specifically the curtains), maintaining an organized workspace, and ensuring seamless performances that enhanced the audience experience. With a strong work ethic and a passion for new challenges, I am eager to continue applying my adaptability, problem-solving skills, and dedication to excellence in future opportunities.
I love reading all kinds of books, from historical fiction, like A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles to The Psychopath Test: A Journey through the Madness Industry by Jon Ronson, and right now, I’m reading Before the Coffee Gets Cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi I paint and sketch daily—mostly landscapes and some portraits—but I enjoy exploring different styles and techniques I'm fascinated by diverse perspectives and stories of love, kindness, opportunity, and growth
I also enjoy watching bleak films and stepping outside my comfort zone to better understand the world and the people in it Lately, I’ve taken an interest in Eastern culture and how it interacts with the West
I love engaging academically and tackling difficult projects that I’m in no way qualified for—just to see how I’ll approach them and what I’ll learn I thrive on challenges and exploring the unknown, which is why I pursued Cybersecurity Even though I wasn’t initially interested in the field, I’ve grown to love it, especially its problem-solving nature and high level of difficulty
