Awarded by DFSM Medical Leadership for Outstanding display of passion, accountability, quality and teamwork and leading with positivity on a department-wide case of a youth with complex needs, and despite multiple barriers achieved a timely and successful outcome for the member.

•  Dell Children's Medical Center (Austin, TX), July Star Spotlight  2016; The first time a staff member from Child Life had been  selected for this hospital-wide recognition.

•  Grant awarded: Critical Seating for Critical Care. Co authored grant for $37,500 for Dell Children's Medical  Center's PICU and Intermediate Care Units. Funded by The  Children's Trust in Spring 2016.  

•  Grant awarded: $1000 for music machines and installation in  Dell Children's Medical Center's PICU and IMC based on my evidence-based, quality improvement. Awarded by  the Child Life Department. 2016.
