Tegan Sommer

I am a finance student with a strong interest in pursuing a career as a financial analyst, where I am able to apply my analytical skills, attention to detail, creativity, and passion for problem-solving to support organizations in making informed decisions. While I am particularly inspired by companies such as L3Harris Technologies for their role in advancing defense and aerospace innovation, I am equally open to building my career in corporate finance, banking, or other industries where financial expertise drives the growth and strategies of any company I am to be apart of.

My academic background has equipped me with a solid foundation in financial literacy, accounting principle, and data-driven decision-making. Im addition to coursework, I have gained practical experience through ordering for a section at a retail store, and even living on my own while working and going to school. This has strengthened my ability and want to analyze data, and communicate results in a clear way.

I am seeking opportunities to continue developing my skills and expertise so I am able to contribute to projects with meaning, and grow into a well oiled financial machine. I bring my a good attitude, adaptability, a strong work ethic, and a genuine eagerness to allow not only myself but those around me to gain better results.
