Work History

Low Voltage Technician

Electronic Security Concepts
Scottsdale
01.2022 - Current
  • I was hired on through ESC with my knowledge and experience in fire. I was aware I was going to have to learn 3 different low volt values, and quickly. In the last 4 years I have learned and taught myself a lot in the field with little to no training on; Access Control, Security/burg alarms, and Network Cameras. I am more than capable of running my own jobs and completing service calls. Troubleshooting with any system has always been my strong field. I learn very quickly and I am hungry for knowledge and training. In my free time I like to study and learn. I have been on the road to getting my NICET and CSA certifications for fire.
  • Installed low voltage wiring for security and communication systems to enhance operational reliability.
  • Configured security cameras and access control systems for optimal performance.
  • Troubleshot system issues and implemented timely solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Educated clients on system operations and best practices for usage.
  • Performed termination of cables including Cat5E, Cat6 and coaxial cables for various systems.
  • Installed, tested, and maintained low voltage systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and optimal performance.

Fire Alarm Technician

Commercial Systems Technology
Mesa
03.2020 - 09.2022
  • Started here with 1.5 years of fire alarm experience. They specialize in Siemens systems. A whole new ball game for me but I buckled down and learned the system very fast and am very comfortable working on their systems. It took little to no time to become an official tech with my own Siemens ID. I currently install and wire panels, full trim outs, troubleshoot, test and inspect the systems.
  • Conducted routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Assisted in the design of fire alarm layouts for new installations.

Fire Alarm Technician

Ecd Systems
Tempe
11.2018 - 02.2020
  • Started here as a fire tech trainee over the course of 1.5 years I learned and worked on commercial notifier fire alarm system. Started pulling wires, running circuits, trimming and terminating devices. After I mastered that they had me hooking up water flow and tampers, ac shutdown, duct detectors, dampers. Then panels and power supplies. I became a very good troubleshooter for shorts, ground faults and opens. Really Mastered my use of a multimeter.
  • Installed and maintained fire alarm systems in commercial buildings.
  • Repaired faulty fire alarm components to maintain system functionality.
