· Lead QC personnel.
· Provide support to the Deputy Chief Engineer in the preparation of procedures related to the QC department
· Manage Quality tests on all samples
· Rresponsible for setting up and monitoring systems to control the quality of products
· Measuring performance against in-house and external standards
· Provide leadership and testing support in carrying out all laboratory testing
· Manage, conduct and supervise quality tests on all samples
· Manage ACC, CWC Inspection and concrete coated pipes stripping inspection activities
· Manage Load in and Load out inspection activities as per QC managers’ instruction according to project requirement. Prepare SOPs for inspection and test activities.
· Organize the Inspection and test activities in accordance with QC Managers’ instructions
· To familiar with and to maintain awareness of Caspian Pipe Coatings Management System requirements
· Ensures tests and inspection equipment used during tests are calibrated and in date and safe use by QC staff
· Monitor inspection equipment for certification, calibration and condition and report to Line Manager
· Prepare comprehensive laboratory test results on all tests performed
· Report any anomalies in test samples to QC Manager
· Assist in the process of PQT test data and provide required reports for “As built” data for projects;
· Ensure the safe use of all testing equipment
· Monitor and evaluate the performance of Inspectors and trainees
· Conduct training for QC Staff on inspection, testing and other required subjects.
· Looking at any areas of weakness and recommending ways to improve
· Additional duties as required by department head.

· Controlling and training Trainee Inspectors in the process of pipe receipt inspection, blasting of bare pipe and final inspection of completed line pipe coating
· Compilation of Daily Reports for accepted line pipe
· Compilation of PQT Reports
· Supervision and control of inspection services for damaged coating and repairs
· Coordination of line pipe details with PTS Team
