Work History

Superintendent

IES Communications
Tempe
01.2023 - Current

As a superintendent at IES, my responsibilities grew to include overseeing all Honeywell sites in Arizona, which include 10 or more sites. Some of my responsibilities were:

  • Scheduling the team
  • Keeping up with emails and replying in a timely manner.
  • Tracking job hours and billed hours.
  • Ordering any materials needed for any tickets or jobs.
  • Tracking tickets in the Honeywell portal. This means opening all tickets submitted by Honeywell users across Arizona, processing them, and opening them on the IES end. I will then approve, schedule, and dispatch techs to each site, and update the customer upon arrival and completion.
  • Stay consistent and up to date on customer relations; this includes taking the customer to lunch, and keeping them in the loop on all open jobs and tickets.
  • Approving all posted time throughout the week.

Lead Tech

IES Communications

01.2018 - Current

As a Lead Tech at IES, my responsibilities were:

  • Job walks with the customer to ensure what is needed to complete the job within the deadline.
  • Go over the job walk with the estimating team to make sure nothing is missed.
  • Go over the job with the team before heading to the site. This included deadlines, materials, expectations, and schedule, the total hours we have to turn over the project, and any special details pertaining to said site.
  • Once on-site, take inventory of the BOM to confirm all material is on-site, and begin positioning techs into place for a successful job.
  • Build out MDF/IDF rooms with rack, ladder tray, and Unistrut (if needed).
  • Terminate Panels, Test with a Fluke Versiv (Copper and Fiber)

Tech 1 - Lead Tech

  • As a Lead Tech, I was assigned larger projects with 5-10 man crews, such as re-cabling retrofitted schools throughout Scottsdale, Chandler, Deer Valley, Phoenix, and many more cities throughout Arizona. These were often month-long jobs, including cutovers and next-day support.
