

I have worked in Law Enforcement for over 20 years and worked hard at it. From city policing, county policy and Airport policing. I did a 2 year stunt as an Evidence Clerk. Responded to Narcotic raids to crime collect crime evidence. In these 20 years of working in law enforcement, I have received countless of att-a-boy letters from police officers, Chiefs and Court judges. They have praised me in my work, professionalism and countless customer service. I took my job very serious and can say in theses 20 years of working this type of environment everyone came home safe.
Unfortunately, I needed to leave the career that I truly loved for medical issues.
I started a new career being a Medical Biller and Coder with zero experience. I worked at it and yes, it was hard. But I never gave up. I am a hard worker and flexible.
Dispatched for police, fire, medical and all 911 emergencies/non-emergency calls for S.C.C.S.O. and also the Patagonia Police Department. Retrieved and disseminated information on ACJIS, ACIC, NCIC, etc. Also, entered warrants, Order of Protection, ran CCH, and III's for officers and detention. Assisted deputies in calling U.S. Customs and Border Protection for line checks and K9 support. Also helped in launching helicopters for medical issues or in searching for missing subjects in the mountain areas. Worked very closely with U.S. Border Patrol Nogales and Sonoita Sector. I also attended and graduated from Western Arizona Law Enforcement Training Academy W.A.L.E.A. at Lake Havasu on 01/25/2013.
I was rehired with the Nogales Police Department. I dispatched for police, fire, and medical in all 911 emergencies/non-emergency calls. Worked in NPD lobby at times to help in public request of police reports, fingerprinting request or requesting for officer assistance, etc. Retrieved and disseminated information on ACJIS, NCIC, III'S. Run radio traffic for officers, run wants/warrant checks on driver license, vehicle registrations, etc. Collaborated with U.S. Customs and Border Protection to conduct line checks and request K9 assistance. Also contacted Nogales Sonora PD via radio or phone for information on stolen vehicles, warrant checks and help with spanish translations.
Delivered rapid response communications support in high-pressure situations, ensuring timely information dissemination. Handled 911 emergency/non-emergency calls and dispatched resources to appropriate units. Executed wants/warrant checks on subjects' driver's licenses and vehicle registrations upon officers' requests. Would confirm on stolen vehicle or on subjects that had felony or misdemeanor warrants. Per policies I would send teleypes by via ALETS or NLETS. Would contact ADOT via computer for weather updates for the public. Coordinated responses to Amber Alerts, addressing critical road fixtures to enhance public safety.

Monitored CCTY cameras for security and safety in the terminal. inside the terminal and outside the secured area. (This is the area where aircraft land to de-plane the passengers or board onto the aircraft). Would follow all FAA policies and procedures. Ran radio traffic for officers upon request, and ran wants/warrant checks on driver license, vehicle registrations, etc. Assisted the background investigation officers in running all information by using different types of AKAs addresses, DOBs and socials if any. Would also run CCH, III's. Assisted officers on scene with DUIs, read the Miranda Rights and Admin Per SE all in spanish. Coordinated dispatch of custodial staff and terminal engineers to maintain facility operations. where and when needed in the airport. In 2004 the communication department was CALEA certified.
I was promoted to Evidence Clerk. Processed evidence, responded to call outs to assist officers in certain criminal cases. Would respond out to assist Metro Agents on home raids and assisted with the collection of evidence and would also transport evidence back to the police department. Would sometimes transport evidence to court for officers or would get the evidence ready for them to pick it up at my office for court. I transported evidence with an armed officer to Tucson DPS for evidence testing. When the cases were adjudicated, I would coordinate the transportation needed and coordinate with the officer's transportation needed to destroy narcotic evidence.
